What is DermaFrac Microchanneling?
DermaFrac is an effective non-invasive alternative intended to rejuvenate and make skin look younger. Designed expressly to drive topical solutions deeper into the skin tissue, DermaFrac™ creates micro-channels through a process called micro-needling. Also known as micro-channeling, this process provides a unique and painless skin rejuvenation alternative to cosmetic lasers.
How Does Microchanneling Work?
The procedure, pioneered 14 years ago, uses a hand piece with a roller fitted with hundreds of microscopic stainless steel needles. The needles on the DermaFrac hand piece were designed to penetrate the skin at a uniform depth, just above the capillaries and nerve endings. This process offers simultaneous delivery of infused ingredients, allowing topical treatments to penetrate deep into the tissue for better efficacy in a pain-free procedure. In addition to micro-needles, the system uses a combination of other rejuvenating technologies to provide improved topical infusion and collagen stimulation. There is no downtime with DermaFrac and it can be performed by an aesthetician in a single visit.
